ALOHA BOWLS

So, I'm going to address the elephant in the room. Everyone that knows me knows, that I LOVE ACAI BOWLS. Luckily I've been able to master the art of making an acai bowl at home but sadly hadn't found one worth it's weight in salt in Vancouver.

Buddahful bowls are good but I always find myself missing the fresh and fruity flavour that only fresh berry toppings can deliver.

Glory Juice bowls have great thickness but again, with just granola on top, it leaves me wanting more, especially when you're dropping a pretty dime.

But alas, don't worry, Aloha Bowls has rolled into town and captured my heart. Their bowls are perfection. I hated to eat it because it was just so beautiful but once I finally dug my spoon into the perfectly decorated acai bowl and tasted it for the first time, my inner monologue consisted of "This is so f#*$@ing good"! on repeat until I finished licking my bowl clean. It reminded me a lot of the bowls we ate at Haleiwa Bowls on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii.

I ordered the original, which came with granola, berries, bee pollen, hemp hearts, honey, cocunut, all the necessities and it was to die for. Speaking of being to die for, they also sell Erin Ireland's line of to die for products, including my personal favourite, her lemon loaf. There is so much goodness packed into this little food truck my heart and my stomach can hardly even handle it.

If you're looking for me at lunch, you can find me in line waiting for my next acai bowl.
