SOFT CURLS
These are the products I use to create soft curls (pictured above). This is one of my go to hairstyles.
STEP ONE
This look works best when you have freshly washed hair. I use living proof, full shampoo and conditioner. It gives my hair body, keeps it shiny and soft.
STEP TWO
After getting out of the shower, I use my towel to squeeze the excess water out of my hair. Once I've done that I spray living proof's restore perfecting spray all over my hair. I let it sit for about 5 minutes. This spray helps protect against heat styling and it untangles my hair. I can't express how much I love this product. I use it every time I wash my hair. It's one of my favourite products. After five minutes have passed gently brush your hair out with a comb. This should get rid of all the tangles.
STEP THREE
Once you've combed your hair out spritz a little bit of wave spray on your hair. I usually spritz the spray the hair that hangs below my ears. I never spray this on my roots.
STEP FOUR
Blow dry your hair with a curling brush, I give myself a lazy at home blow out. Once your hair is dry curl it section by section. I use hair salon clips to section of my hair so I can focus on one section of hair at a time. When curling your hair point the barrel down so your hand is above the barrel. Wrap small-medium sections of hair around the wand until it feels warm and then let go of your hair. Do this until you've curled every section of your hair. I usually work from the bottom up.
STEP FIVE
I use ouai finishing creme to clean up those fly away ends. Just put a dime sized amount in your palm, rub your hands together and spread the creme over your hair.
STEP SIX
I use gisou honey infused hair oil to add some shine to my hair. Just put a tiny bit on your palm (you really don't need very much, this bottle should last you a year at least) rub your hands together and run your hands down the ends of your hair. I don't go any higher than my ears because I don't want to get the oil in my roots.
