We spent the September long weekend at my Auntie Diana and Harold's lake home in the Okanagan. We have been vacationing with them at their beautiful lake home for as long as I can remember. This particular stay was a special one as it will probably be the last time we every stay there. My parents, as you know are building a lake home just down the road, where we will stay from now on. Luckily, this only means we will get to make more memories with them as we will be able to visit more often.
On Saturday we went golfing at my parent's new course, the Kelowna Golf and Country Club and had a wonderful dinner out on the patio after we finished playing 18. The course was beautiful, especially the back nine which had some stunning but challenging holes that were completely surrounded by water.
DAY TWO
We took my brother Kyle and sister-in-law Jamie to see our wedding venue, we stopped by Ellis Park and then headed to waterfront wines, our wedding caterer's restaurant for dinner. When we got home we surprised Kyle and Jamie by popping a bottle of champagne to celebrate their second wedding anniversary.
DAY THREE
On our last day we celebrated Kyle and Jamie's second wedding anniversary by taking some portraits of them out on my parents new dock. We also took a couple more pictures, because...well...I had my camera and I like to take pictures. Kyle and Jamie headed home around noon and the rest of us headed out for a boat ride. Nick jumped into the freezing cold lake and then we played a round of cards before heading back to the city.
